Got my replacement coolant reservoir cap from Magnuson as the original one was leaky. Cleaned off the bottle and hopefully this solves the problem.

Double checking the alignment after work. Hadn’t checked it after doing the bump stops.

Picked up 2 pairs of Arb Tred Pro traction boards and their long quick release pins. Bent a couple pieces of aluminum and have them mounted in the bed for future use.

I forgot we had a blast cabinet at work. Makes cleaning these for plates much simpler. Lots of little things in the works it seems like.

I had no intention to weld the Jd Fab gussets on myself but a little peer pressure at work goes a long ways. I forgot to grab pics before I threw them in the blast cabinet. I’ll knock the weld slag off prior to coating them.

I keep meaning to grab a cabinet at harbor freight, my last shop I had access to one, sure makes it easy to clean up small parts!

We have 2 a little one and a huge one that’s the size of a geo metro. The big one we have never hooked up. The little one is buried behind the owners Harley stuff. It’s a little out of sight out of mind.

Not quite big enough for a bumper, but plenty of room for a wheel I guess?

Added some new tires today. I stuck with 287/75r16 but went with Cooper St Maxx. As said by many people these things take some serious weight to balance them.

Whelp, took a little longer than expected but I’m excited none the less. I went a less than traditional route and am using 4.56 gears and dual lsd’s. If things work out maybe I’ll start on it tonight.

its all good. I’m a paper pusher in the back office and anytime I pull something into the shop to work on it I get a decent ration of crap about it. They actually asked me if I wanted to take a tech position out in the shop last week.
