I am going to look at a camper shell for $70. It needs paint and upholstery which is very easy for me to do. But the rear window as seen in the picture attached, is it possible to replace it with a new sheet of plexi glass?

I replaced mine with a piece of 3/16" Lexan after I shattered it when my gas grill slid into it (inside). Only pic I have of the back of the truck, sorry. Maybe you can see it better by enlarging. Pulled that damn trailer from GA to Western Colorado to Michigan this summer!

It's not a fast process putting that glazing back in the back door of a topper, but it can be done if you're patient!

You could, but it could be kinda difficult to get it cut exactly right I think. But I bet it could be done if you used your existing glass as a template for it?

I just used the aluminum frame to make my template out of cardboard. Cut the Lexan with a fine-toothed jigsaw and it worked after doing a little more "whittling" on the rounded corners ;-) I re-used the stock rubber gasket and also utilized a tube of weather-stripping adhesive. And to me, it looks stock!

Cut a small hole in the plastic and mounted the antenna to the drivers side windshield wiper mount using an old Harley Davidson blinker bracket. 1 1/4" drywall screw is holding door handle together nicely.
Masking tape along your cut lines, make it easy to see your marks and protects plexiglass from tool scratches.

Alot of toppers use the same windows & frames. I'd look for one craigslist, you might find a matching one or new one for cheap. I got mine for $50.

Or spend $100 and have a glass guy fit you up right.

Where and how much did you get your trailer for? A dealer? Craigslist? I am in the market for an enclosed single or double axle for a motorcycle

Bought it from the factory in GA. Cajun trailers is the website I think. Jerry is the guy to talk to. Was about $1800 cheaper than anywhere else, but had to pick it up myself in BFE Georgia.
