My 2008 has the JBL sound system which comes with boosted speakers as well as an 8 inch sub behind the backseat. I am planning on installing an upgraded sub in the back but I am wondering if it is worth the time and money to replace my JBL speakers. I have heard a lot of people complain about the base model speakers but I would assume that the JBL's are much better. What are your thoughts on this?

I haven't replaced the front door speakers yet, but I noticed exactly no difference between my stock JBL rears, and the upgraded aftermarket.

I replaced to rear door JBL's because I thought they were blown. It was just a loose wiring harness.

So you would not recommend replacing them?

Until you upgrade the amp, it won't change much.
