For those who may interested, the directions for installing the Bulldog Winch Mount.

I noticed that no one who sells it, shows the directions.

Just came across this bulldog winch mount.
Its a shame they dont make a plate with a 2" receiver welded on it, that would use the 4 winch holes for mounting. Then you could have a receiver on the front that wouldn't impede approach angle like the Curt. It would also eliminate the issue that was had with the CBI high clearance bending as it would have a straight line pull.
Maybe Ill call in the morning and put a bug in Bulldog's ear.
    Hmmmmm.

Anybody actually use this? Does it hold up while winching?

yes it’s good to go! I pulled a truck out of the mud a few weeks ago. I love that my winch is totally hidden with the stock bumper!

    Hi,
I ended up w/this DV2 winch mount, which required no cutting of any kind.
I was also able to install it w/o removing the plastic bumper as well.
I have a Warm M8000 Winch for it, which I'll install when it gets a little cooler where I live.
I have the cable model which is why I have the rollers. This is the Roller Fairlead which comes w/the Warn winch, which tends to stick out too far for me at that angle.

Here I found a shorter Roller Fairlead, which doesn't stick out as far.

I found this License Plate Mount, which slips in behind the Roller Fairing.

Will a LED light bar still fit behind lower grill when using the Bulldog mount/winch?

Any photos of reinforcements people have added? Aside from the frame horn "clips" that add a bit of tension capability - are there items that prevent it from bending down or deforming the upper fairlead support. I'd like to add a 2" box hitch below the fairlead if anyone has done this.
