I just installed them yesterday, the difference is noticeable to me but not as much as others have made it out to be.

SRV is the bomb! My favourite guitar player hands down, i actually got his signature guitar

If i listen to 22-23 i wont be able to hear anything haha! Mine is min at 50 when alone. Probably due to not giving a fuck about wearing hear protection when was younger and working construction, also a lot of rock concerts doesnt help.

Definetly worth changing.. I changed all speakers. I did the Subaru tweeters and Alpine speakers type s front and rear... I changed the speakers first and it made a difference... Then wasn't as satisfied.. changed the tweeters and was satisfied. I would add a woofer but I feel like it will rattle in the long run. Could be wrong but that's just me. Lol

No, don’t do this. The factory head unit is low powered and can’t push 6 aftermarket speakers. The RMS required is much higher than what the factory head unit can power. If you’re not replacing the head unit just replace the dash tweeters only.

I got a JBL component system with woofers, tweeters, and crossovers on Amazon for $86, and they sound better than just about every factory speaker I've ever heard.

I've got over $600 in my stereo system (I've got a base model 2nd Gen 5-lug RC, and those had weak stereos), and I'm not gonna lie...

I love cranking "Pride and Joy", "Look at Little Sister", and "Caught in the Crossfire" in my truck!

I just got done installing subaru kicker tweeters, kicker door speakers front and rear, and a new pioneer deck.

Tweeters were the first to go in, really didn't impress me at all by themselves. Door speakers were next, and also didn't wow me... but once I installed the Pioneer 1500 NEX after all that, holy shit what a difference! I would say only do the tweeters if you plan on doing a full audio upgrade, not worth the money if thats the only thing you're upgrading

    Dont feel like one.

SRV stands for Stevie Ray Vaughan, one of the best guitar players in the world. Too bad he died in a helicopter crash at a young age after getting sober.

You can listen to pride and joy, cold shot and vodoo child, those will get you started.

Edit: just saw your last post, you know who he is haha!

I just did these plus the Kicker DS series door speakers. I really enjoy the range of sound that I have now vs. stock. I can hear the difference of the dash speakers. They definitely have better clarity. I will be improving it further with an amp to power the front speakers. I find that the factory head unit doesn't have enough power to get decent bass at higher volumes.

It was 55 degrees today, so I put on my sweatshirt, rolled down the windows, and cranked up the heat for the drive home from work. I got stuck in holiday traffic, and I put on Layla and turned it up as loud as I could stand it!

I've always been a bigger fan of the studio version...

I've got an Kicker 8" powered sub in my truck; I was gonna go bigger, but nothing else would really fit. The JBL speakers are powered by a Rockford Fosgate Prime amplifier, and I've got a Pioneer touch-screen head unit.

:spending:Well I did it yesterday. There is no power increase of corse but sound is better in my opinion. Threw some Fleetwood Mac in for the highs and it sounds great. The stock paper tweeters actually are good for what they are 1/2oz or so total weight and I was surprised at how light there were but I did the kicker upgrade and Subaru tweeters. Yes clearer sound but same power level (expected). And amp will make it super clear. It’s xmas. If you have an xtra $100 do it. If not be happy with what you have. Personal taste but again I think it sounds a lot better but I also spent $100 so I may be wanting my $100 worth in sound before an amp if I ever get to one. Too many Pink Floyd/AC/DC concerts and so on so maybe I am simply deaf. IDK
