You know since I’ve had my Tacoma it’s opened a completely new world that fits my intrigue perfectly.

This is to me when the trucks are modified or enjoyed as a platform perform for adventure outings or maybe even trailblazing.

question is, is there a reliable guide website etc. that Provides location, difficulty and other details of known trails fit for off-road vehicles or in my case semi capable two wheel drives.

My truck is only a 2 Wheel Dr., Prerunner. I would love to know what trails are available, their locations and whether or not they should be attempted with a 2 WD etc.

Is there a reliable reference in this regard?

    pinstripes. lots of pinstripes.
Check out AllTrails or something similar. About the best you're going to get is trail reports/reviews from others that have tried it since this is so subjective. Look for pictures.

Some apps have public trail ratings (OnX offroad is one I think).

Honestly this site can be a pretty good resource for that as well. If you have a certain trail / area in mind try asking in the local forum. Keep in mind that in some areas (at least in the NorthEast) people dont readily give out location info online. Just too many "bad apples" that F it up for everyone else.

Your PreRunner with decent tires and the LSD turned on will do better than you think with a little common sense

I think trailsoffroad is also another option. They have some free locations, but I think you have to be a member for more info/maps They also have phone apps. Another thing I also do is use youtube and see if there are any videos of a specific trail.

I'm heartbroken, I copied and pasted with the state of Texas in place of Colorado. Held my breath and hit enter!!! AND GOT NADA!!! :boom::bananadead:But this is exactly what I was referring to, thank you.

Yeah, I have heard this from a few people and I am most certainly intrigued. I would like to make my truck more capable of semi-rough trails. Nothing over the top though. It all started when I found myself lusting after an adventure truck setup after watching this guy called Tacoma Beast on YouTube. Absolutely, not too overboard though, but maybe a conservative lift done right with an appropriate set of tires. Matching correct coil overs and shocks with 3 member conversion. And perhaps a 12000lb winch etc. with matching slider bumpers and nerf sliders with panel guards. omnidirectional light bars, rock lights, and ditch lights. A nice roomy clamshell roof tent with solar, heat & AC. A UHF & ham radio set up and a nice drone to be able to properly record the adventures from the air. Excuse me I have to take this, it's my wife's attorney.

Nice, but before I can start looking into something like this I have a couple of questions.

The first is, is your wife a good cook and does she mind having guest for an extended amount of time?

The second is how comfortable is your couch or the bed in your guest room?

Nice! I actually did a project with IXL Brick in Medicine hat a few years back. Really enjoyed the pheasant hunting and the people there were outstanding.

If you have any federal lands around, you can get info from whoever controls that. USGS has great topo maps and stuff, and I know the Forest Service has an app for the forests and forest roads that is free to use.
