Hey guys, I’m new to the forum and to Tacoma’s I just picked up a 16 2.7L automatic back in November. I’ve noticed some issues such as throttle response sometimes the truck feels as though it’s stalling but it’s really not. Curious if anyone knows a solution to this or if anyone knows of a tune for the 2.7L I know it’s a 4 Cylinder I’m not looking for any crazy power or anything just something to fix the little issues. Appreciate any help anyone can give me. Thanks.

There are as many opinions on what to do as there are owners.

That said, what I did (and still do) is drive the little sucker like you stole it and are mad that you did. The transmission learns your driving style and will, over time, run more like a 6 than a 4.

There is no way I'd go to a V6 as well as mine runs.
