Adiesel engine for the toyota tacoma that
I can fit without any change to the suspension or body itself? I know theres a helix (tacoma from japan) that has a diesel but where can i find it if there is one? Does anyone have a diesel in theirs?

 

I'm a diesel fan and have searched these things several times. Most of the diesel mid size/small engines people get seem to be fairly rare in the US and/or imports. I'd say give up the dream or get with some over seas clubs.. try australian forums they love the IFS trucks and get diesels imported. But parts would be a bitch.. forget about mechanics.

Needless to say, unless you managed a hi-lux or similar engine, it would be a lot of fab work. Since 2005 the tacoma is a US only model, I don't know quite how well it interchanges with the Hi-lux or other similar chassis.
