I have some fox 2.5 reservoir shocks on my truck and the 2.0 reservoir in the rear with jba uca. I’m kinda thinking I may want to trade somebody or buy some TRD Pro complete suspension just because I went from 285 down to 265 and don’t really need a 2.5 in lift any more. Just wondering what everyone’s thoughts are on this. Kinda useless having these nice shocks and running stock height. Are the TRD Pro setup any good?7BD82720-F4D1-4F03-BAFF-EA99ADC36C8A.jpgCDF743CA-0B90-415D-9142-EBF552A293CA.jpg

That's a super nice set up ... What made you decide to go back down to 265?

I had a bad tire so I had to get a new one anyways and I rubbed slightly on my flare plus I leased the truck so I didn’t really want to cut or trim anything. I also finally got some ray 10s and they have more offset than my methods so I would have needed to trim for sure. Now I’m second guessing the fancy lift.

    Yep.
They're adjustable, let some lift out, run it and enjoy the better ride.

265's (70R17/75R16) will look fine with 1-2" of lift.

Oh I see... How much of a ride quality improvement did you get from the fox shocks over stock?

It’s lowered down now and maybe 1 inch higher than stock just hard to have this much money into a suspension and it’s basically for looks now. Rides like a stock truck.

Plus these are the high caster jba uca and not sure I want a stock height truck with 4 degrees of caster? Maybe I’m wrong though.

If you plan on turning it in at end of lease and don't care about the lift look anymore I dont think its crazy to sell the setup or trade with cash on top for pro components, save money while the suspension is still new, etc. Or just run it with stock UCAs, sell JBAs now, sell Fox setup come lease turn in time. But ya I wouldnt want to run high caster UCAs on a stock like setup. Which rays are you running? I know when I ran 265/75r16's on my 17 they still rubbed a bit at full lock in reverse/incline, etc.

Maybe I’ll see if there’s anybody out there with a pro that would trade.

If you care less about a lifted look, I'd say sell the setup, snap some stock components off someone cheap or part of the deal, run 265/70r17 on a nice AT and call it a day. That should still yield you some stance / height without lift headaches and saving some dough.

I bet there is, I'd ask for some cash ontop as well, as your setup is a bit better.

That sounds like a good idea. Maybe I’ll throw them up on here any see if there’s any interest.

No noticeable improvements with the fox setup over stock? Looking at doing something almost exactly like this setup, was wondering how much of an improvement it would be,

No it’s definitely better than stock. Just not sure if it’s worth all the money to just run your truck stock height. If I was going to run 285s yes I would keep it no questions asked.

I was running 285/70/17 with method nv 0 offset. I had a bad tire so I went with 265/70/17 this time.
