Is this a good price/truck??

Im a newbie and have been looking to get a Tacoma for a while. I had been looking at some used trucks (02-04) and found in my area that the prices were around 17-18k for low mileage trucks (~50k)

I found a new one at the dealer that they are selling for 24.4k (MSRP of 28.5k)
Its an 08 Tacoma Access Cab 4WD with:
-V6
-TRD Rugged Trail Package
-6-disc in dash CD
-exhaust tip (VAlor)
-towing package

I figure that for just a few thousand more, I might as well buy new.

Any thoughts. Thanks in advance.

That is a pretty good deal. I looked around when mine was bought back and didn't see any that low.

 

I know of a KILLER 06 A-Cab for sale up here in Illinois.

I can give all the numbers, then go in there and beat em up on price.

06 TRD 4x4 Access Cab, Auto, 4.0 V6, Radiant Red with 26,5xx miles.They gave me $22,000 as the trade-in value. So go offer to buy it for $500 over invoice.

That truck is PERFECT (well, there are two small rocks chips) - I miss my Red Taco!
