Is this exhaust pipe still good enough to use?

I inherited a free magnaflow exhaust because my friend totaled his truck. It had one section that was damaged and my friend said he could fix or replace that section for me. He did it but the pipe he used wasn't EXACTLY the same size. He said it's around 1/16 or 1/32 thinnger than the original pipe, it's also a little thicker than the original. Here are pictures.

I'd like to go slap it on, I just want to make sure it's worth doing. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

It looks brand new. Run it.

Yes, that's fine. Worst case scenario it sounds bad and you have to spend another 5 minutes taking it off.

Sound bad because it's an aftermarket exhaust or sound bad because of the repair?

I am going to go slap it on then!

Either or! I don't foresee that small of a size difference changing the sound, but rumor has it I've been wrong before.
