    So I was wondering what is the ratio of Tacoma 4x2 to 4x4 owners on this site. There seems to be more 4x4 owners on here.

    4x2 is meant as 2 wheel drive (no matter the style).
    4x4 is meant as 4 wheel drive (no matter the style).

    4x4. Will be handy in the winters up here. If I lived where crappy weather didn't occur for half of the year, I'd probably have a 4x2.

    I think Prerunner should be an option. There is a BIG difference between Prerunner and 4x2 models.

    I would love to have a 4x4, but it doesn't do any good with all paved roads. I wish we had something like MOAB.

    a prerunner has the suspension of the 4x4 w/o the actual 4x4 components...a base 4x2 are the lil trucks in 4 cyl that are 5 luggers and are squatty

    hey it may be little but i love it. mine sounds like a ricer. and it gets the attentions of the ladies:D. Remember it aint the size of the truck that matters.....
