there was no lightning or the letters gt together in any way on my ranger

it was a 93...navy blue and a shell on the back...and it sucked BAWLZ...lucky for me i never actually paid for it as it was my grandfathers and about the time i got rid of my volvo he had a stroke and could no longer drive so i "inherited" the ranger because of my need for a vehicle...

less than 6 months later it was parked at our farm to be used solely as a junk/tool/plant hauler

its still there and somehow still running

the odometer only shows like 80K on it because it had an analog odo and could only handle 6 digits with one being .10 mile...

always made me think ford didnt build this truck to last over 100K

A few additions to make me feel cool.
07 4X4 TRD, I have only needed to put in 4 wheel drive once out here in CA however after growing up in VA I always buy the 4X4 if I don't I feel like I am in a car.

Fog Light On, Hidden Garage Door Opener, Scanguage II, Weathertech Liners, Cig lighter always on, Door buzzer removed from dash- Upcoming: 5100s for front and rear, set fronts to 2.5" and Toytec AALs.
All my other trucks have been 4x4 but since I don't do much off roading anymore I really don't need it. I figured that if I could tool around the snowy roads of Michigan with my 4x4 Ram in two wheel drive then certainly this Toyota could do the same. Right? Besides fish tailing is so much fun.

4 x 4, like somebody else said, I'd hate to need it and not have it. I actually got used to having it in my RAV 4 and don't think I'd ever buy anything else now.

some of this, a little of that
4x4, with the winters we get around here I could not have purchased a 4x2. Oh and the occasional off roading (however very light)

Would consist of a gravel parking lot at the lake. No where to go for off roading fun. So I'll just drive my 2 wheel drive Tacoma like a spots car. :)

Like mentioned above, 4x4 for snow. Up here 4x2's are about as useless as tits on a bull. Sliding all over the place, fish tailing attempting to get up hills, etc. Not worth it. Maybe if the 4x2's were FWD, but they aren't so I got 4wd just to have the fwd part during winter. Let alone for the time I venture off asphalt. :D
