Take mine off-road & scratch the paint? Heck no. Two summers ago we almost moved up to the socal snow/ice areas, but because we didn't I'm not pretending I need a 4X4. 4X2 Prerunner here.

Reg Cab 4x4, even though the 4 wheel drive will not get used much, in Kentucky with the possibility of snow and ice, 4 wheel drive is somewhat needed and fares better on dirt and gravel

4x4 here, couldn't possibly be any other way for me. Actually, not even a thought of buying a 4x2 has ever gone through my head. I guess that some people have them up here in the north, but not me!

For you southerns, more power to you. You probably really don't need 4x4 unless your on the trails. I like to leave my trucks in 2-wheel drive on the trails until I get stuck. For snow/ice, it's always in 4x4 for safety.

Drive it in 4x2 and then through it into 4x4. 4x4 is by far the way to go:D

Hmm, Canadian winters and vehicles? 4wheel drive. Had a few too many harrowing experiences driving up north (yes, even further north than I already am) and I like the idea of all 4 wheels givin'er shit.

No offense to anyone and I understand why those of you get 2WD, but I got a truck because I wanted a TRUCK - 4X4, ground clearance, and a bed. Even my cars had AWD but that's because of snowy winter roads. I towed a trailer with them when I needed a bed.
