Nothing incredibly special going on here right now.

Purchased this vehicle earlier last month.

After some negotiation, picked up this pick up for $3800 CAD ($2900 USD) with 266,000 km (165,000 miles)

After searching most of spring and summer, this was the best deal i've been able to come across that actually had a decent frame and low mileage.

No major plans right now, just replacing worn components.

Welcome to hear anybody's thoughts and opinions.

Pictures to come as well as planned and completed work.

Previous owner took it to Toyota in 2010 for the frame recall. They prepped and coated the frame at that time. I think they did a good job because most of the frame has held up nicely.

I plan to remove the bed at some point and grind off any rusted areas and recoat. Possibly plate vulnerable areas.

Haven't had time to do much of a write up. Just been doing a bunch of basic maintenance in my free time since I bought it. Planning on keeping things mostly stock.

Changed all fluids, did front pads and rotors, replaced lower ball joints, rear leaf springs, shocks, spark plugs/wires, fuel filter. Recently did valve cover job and timing belt.

Mostly just front suspension work planned for this summer.

    Some random pics...
