I am looking at getting a .22 LR tactical. I like the M&P 15-22 but dont like the plastic features of it. I stumbled across this today and was wondering if anyone had heard of this. I would either go for this or an AK chambered in a .22 LR. I eventually will get a full size rifle but I have no where to shoot it at this point in time.

    Check out my sig...
Not what youre looking for but I got the mp15-22 and love it. fun and cheap as hell to shoot. dropped in some jp trigger springs, cheapo red dot, buis, and some other furniture. all mil-spec so when I finally build my ar i can swap parts over and between them if needed.

Iw as looking at these when I bought my sig522. I went with the sig, because it was tested for reliability and cheaper and magazines are easy to find.

i like the mp15-22 also and the sig. i have a guy that i know that can get me a fair price for a new one, but in my area the guns are expensive. It seems that the mk22 seems to be doing well with the tests but hasnt been around long enough for a longevity test. Anyone have an AK22? I saw one of those and it looks really cool. (i am not usually an AK fan) but am willing to give one a try and see if the looks grow on me some.

I have an m&p 15/22 and man that thing hasn't given me any trouble at all. from CCI stingers to federal bulk walmart ammo it will eat anything I put in it. It has the same exact battery of arms as the m4 too. it is a little light weight (5 lbs) but that also just makes it fun to shoot. weight of a BB gun and the fun of a .22

Still havent cbought anything yet. My bro got a M&P 15-22 and he loves it. I still like the looks of the MK22 though, but i checked for magazines and the MK22 is virtually imposible to find. Most places stopped carrying them. The M&P is so hot right now it is hard to find in my area. I dont know how I feel buying online, never bought online before.

Buying online wont be a problem if you choose a reputable dealer for both buying and receiving the gun

I'm sorry, but the S&W 15-22 is a great gun, far superior to the Sig Sauer 522 as far a construction and durability. I would RUN to the 15-22 if I were you, it's an awesome gun.

get a CMMG dedicated .22 upper and build yourself a AR lower. this way you have a nice .22 and you have the option to put a 5.56, 6.8, 300, or however many other uppers on it down the road if you want ;)
