    i know this is an old thread but Im in the same boat was not able to find any 9 pin connector ....it really suck that this wire harness is not the one for our trucks don't know why toyota sell this shit as a universal fit for second gen non tow package. I guess we need keep burning cash... joshua can you confirm the part number that mike give you is the ONE are your towing setting all set?

    I just check pt725-35120 at dealer is the exact same part number my wire harness is ....so it does comes with a 9 pin DENSO converter box but my truck does not have the magical 9 pin connector!! like I posted in another threads I have spend 2 days going for the 3rd dealing with this issue! my taco is a 4cyl l4 2.7 4x4 access cab, long bed with non towing package ...are this version of the second gen. equip or not with a 9 pin connector for converter box ?? if not why dealer sell this wire harness? if yes where is the 9p connector?

    thanks for any help !
