    This is my current setup. These are 5TB disks. I plan on swapping them out with at least 10TB disks.

    I think swapping out the SATA cables won't be an issue, but I'm not sure if the power supply will cooperate with hot-swapping devices while the system is running.

    Huh. Why not a multi drive array vs a bunch of raid 1s ...

    I just ordered a couple of cheap 24gb drives to upgrade my 12x4 raidz2
