It's back

After 6 days of waiting and 720 dollars later, I finally have my truck back from the shop. I have a new timing belt, water pump and a few other things. Apparently it melted my timing belt over the pulleys and they said I was lucky it didn't blow a gasket which wouldve cost me around 1500 dollars so thank god tht didn't happen. He also said I didn't have a non interference engine so I'm kinda confused cause I thought I had one. O well. I'm just glad I've got my taco back

 

That mechanic must have a hint of downs. You DO have a non interference engine and there is absolutely no connection between the t belt and any gaskets.
