It better rain again soon. I'm getting a new spindle and spindle gussets tomorrow. I'm ready to go back out.

 

. did you break a spindle? How much was the damage if you wont mind me askin?

 

No I just bent it.


Not too bad, I just need the spindle replaced, which is going on tomorrow. I'm also having them gusseted.

 

nice. well Im glad it worked out. your not the only one with damage. I kinda messed something up. either I got mud in my pulleys or alternator, either way i gotta replace some bearings. I just gotta figure out which one it is.

 

My engine sounds HORRID. That's my next thing that I need to troubleshoot. I'm guessing it's my belt/pulleys.

 

lol. Man I hate to sound like a little bitch, but mudding is such a PITA. Ill definitely hit the trails with you guys again but that big ass puddle really killed me, my intake, and my pulleys/alternator so Ill probably avoid it next time. I had to use an entire bottle of air filter cleaner to take all the mud off the intake filter. Their was mud inside the intake box, its crazy. Definitely had fun though and we'll have to do it again!

 

I'll hit that shit again.


My belts and pulleys have almost 50,000 miles of dirt, mud, snow and rain on them. It's time for an upgrade.

 

mine have 4,700.

 

Yeah, my truck has been to many places. 50,000 miles and it's only a little over a year and a half old.

 

wow. thats awesome. you put quite a bit of miles on your truck and it still kicks ass and runs as if its brand new. and thats exactly why I got a tacoma..

Its raining. My truck is wet... haha so am I. Time to find some mud... I've been waiting too long. Where is the largest puddle in San Diego... Derek? You seem to always find these!
