    So I was patrolling in my zone tonight and decided to do some fenceline checks. Got down to this gate and all the dirt/sand that was off to the side and up a little from it had these huge ruts. After the gate I was coming back up and drove to where they were. Right as I was telling my buddy I was going to bring my truck back down later, the back passenger wheel falls into a rut (Approx 8") and luckly the momentum cause us to ride it out. Since that wasn't enough of a jolt, I decided to ride one more trail. While on the trail I noticed the brakes felt funny because I needed to slow down just a tad. This then prompted me to be an idiot and stop because I wanted to know WTF was up with the breaks. Tried to go again and just spun. Turned the Stabilitrak and Traction Control back on and nothing just slid some more into deeper mud. After trying to rock it I had mud up to the holes in the rims of the unit. Luckily point loma has a bunch of shrubs so my buddy and I grabbed all the loose shubbery we could and stuffed it under the tires. Barely made it out with the tires spinning the whole 1/4 out and slid back onto the road since the brakes didn't work. Good 1" of mud caked on the unit lol.
