Nah. I've been pretty busy and the only day I can do it is on a Monday cuz my mom doesn't work on mondays.

Thanks so much RangerPete for the offer but I don't feel it's fair to bore two people but I definatly appreciate it. I will try the tweezers. did you cut strips or did you place a strip of tape on the back and cut it out?

I just wrote an email to mr. Kelch about it now. His email is on the coggin toyota at the avenues website. I know I won't get anything back until monday probably.

Cut the strips then place them on the back of the emblems. Dont try and cut out a whole letter to fit. Just cut strips out and piece them together as best as possible.

I've been writing rich and he's gonna order the parts and when I get back in town I'll bring the truck over to him.

Thanks again for the reccomendation. I've read and I'm sure you have to that they are a real pita about doing it and they have to see marks on the bumps stops and all that crap. Thankfully rick just wanted some info on the truck and that's it.

How long did it take for him to do your tsb? i know it's not going to be the same because you got springs also but just to get a general idea.

 

yeah rick is awesome about taking care of you. And the service guy i always see his name is Jomar, he is really helpful. it took like 3 days for the parts to get in and than when i brought it in it only took like 5 hrs to finish it all up.

 

He's ordering the parts and he said to give him a call when I get back in town. I'm going to Long Island Mon-Fri Next week to visit my #1 uncle.

So my guess would be only 2-3 hours on mine cuz all they have to do is switch out the leaf pack.

Off topic for a minute...
I was going south from my mother's house in Orange Park yesterday afternoon. I was just passing Orange Park High School when I looked over my left shoulder and saw what looked like to me , the largest tornado I've ever seen. As ya'll know, it was a waterspout. But from Blanding, it looked gigantic. Did any of ya'll see it?
I was gonna stop and take a picture for TW live but Blanding was too crowded.

 

yeah i was at NAS and we used the cameras on the hanger to video tape the whole thing. It actually hit the end of the runway and went through some trees and grass down by the water. It was awesome to watch.

 

i got a couple pics of it once it got up my way. it pulled up and started to drop as a larger one, then went away again.

 

I heard about it but unfortunatly I missed it.
