Better to ask what I have not done.
i am assuming that you did not have to trim studs because you have the dimpled pieces on the back side of the wheel. and @Tacoma SS you better pull a wheel and see if you have those off set dimples in the after market wheels or you are doing some wheel stud trimming

I'm already paranoid about having wheel spacers on. If I can at least move to a smaller spacer I will feel much better

No trimming. Just some light tapping with a rubber mallet to get the spacer to seat dead center on the threads so everything was installed properly. I'm super anal about installing important stuff and I don't want to be another casualty of those running spacers..super nervous about them being on the rig..

You hammered the studs deeper into the hub? That doesn't seem safe. Unless I'm misunderstanding what you did

Lightly tapped on the spacer to get it to seat dead center on the hub assembly so when I torqued the acorn nuts down, the spacer was seated PERFECTLY.

But your wheel studs are longer than .75, so didn't they stick out a little bit? That's what I was wondering about, if your wheels had little indents for the studs to go into or how you avoided that

Are the spacers that you have on the front 1.25?

The only reason that I would want wheel spacers on the front is so my tires are parallel. But if I am able to move down to a .75 space or in the rear, I might not bother with the front. I will flex out my rear axle pretty soon here and see if I can go smaller. If I have to stay with 1.25 I will take your spacers
