Interesting. Any reason for going with the 44 over the 60? or maybe even something from Diamond Axle?

Better to ask what I have not done.
Its a 8.4 ring gear so technically better then the stock one. And high pinion so another strength. For now im only going to run 35s. So its plenty for that and my driving style. The 44 is tiny in comparison with the 60 so great clearence.....

This truck is not going to be a hard core rock crawler. So it does not have to be beefy and im not going to trash this truck yet.

And IF i deside to upgrade and go a diffrent route with the truck i always can. I would be going to custom tundra 10.5 axles with the front being tundra 1060

I won't argue that I guess. :p I've seen most go to the 60s and 40s, but if your only running 35s then you'd be fine. I would just be worried about the axle shafts. I've seen a few break out on the trail and I hear the own complain about "how he should have go with a Dana 60," but that is neither here nor there.

Truck looks great! Any plans on the rear or you going to leave it stock?

Should have done Volvo Portal Axles. I am very disappointed with your choice in axles.

I am picky about the axles i ride on,i dont like them when they are huge because the fun just goes away at that point,

Ok ill refraze that i dont want 5 inches of lift at all and that would be 5inches of lift at my bump stops.....

Thats the reason why i like the 44. It stuffs really well

Quoted from another website, a shaved d60/14b should have the same clearance as a d44. Either way, start looking for that 14b! The front is most likely gonna be a ruffstuff with inners tacked on at least

Shave a 14b and put it in the front and get back to me.

Wasn't talking about a 14b for the front :) That big BItch can go in the back.
Front I'm still massively considering the ruffstuff ford 9 or diamond if they play nice

Diamond plays nice when you give them that 16 digit number expiration date and ccv

Diamond makes some RC crawler axles that cost more than the trucks. Very proud
