The capsaicin in jalapenos can help kills cancer cells, is a pain reliever, relives congestion, and fights inflammation. I also heard they have more vitamin C than oranges.

    Om nom nom nom

I love them. On burgers especially, and nachos. And that stuffed jalapeño with cream cheese and bacon looks so good.

    I'm hungry now...

Very true JT. Good of you to bring that up.

Peppers = much good. Even our most common American herb, 'black pepper,' offers some slight healing benefits. Salt, on the other hand, mmm, not so good. Sry.

    Pepper Flame on! :D

Good jalapenos burn twice. I have killed the microbes in my septic system two or three times, I guess.

While Jalapenos are good, I really think New Mexico Big Jims (or similar) are tops. I get at least one burlap sack each autumn, roast them on the BBQ, eat some:p and freeze the rest to consume for the next year. Chile Peppers are Americas joy!!:D

i went to a party a couple months ago where they did this. i eat jalapenos almost every day (no exageration, i'd die without them). i have no problem with jalapenos. but i ate one of those home made poppers and had to go to the bathroom and drool in the sink and constantly run water in my mouth. they were de-seeded but i think the oil and juices leaked out and collected in the tip. i was able to handle it with no problem until i ate that last little bite (the tip) and my face immediately turned red and i started leaking from every facial orifice. it was good, but it was more like a jabanero than a jalapeno. i thought i was gonna die

I do this recipe to; however, I add fresh strawberries in the pepper and cream cheese... and grill with the bacon. Try it.

I eat jalapenos just about every day. I found them to be exceptional with my steak tonight.
