    Greetings to all,:)

I think this is a great site. Many times truck owners often are having difficulties or just want to show off their trucks and there is no forum to help. Having this site is ideal, perfect, it sell off.

I don't own a Tacoma yet but I am shopping for one. I would prefer a manual transmission, power windows, four wheel drive, access cab. Four cylinders and black off course. This would be ideal for me but I am willing to compromise.

Welcome to TW. Don't compromise. Get what you want to buy, not what they want to sell you.

Welcome to TW! You can easily find a 2001 XtraCab 2.7L 4WD in the states... in Jamaica, I don't know how easy it will be. Good luck!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask! Cheers!

Used Tacomas are for sale but the price the sellers are asking for them sometimes seem high. However I am determine to get one. When I do I will post pictures of it.

I was wondering where Nagrel is but i realize it's "NEGRIL" you are talking about. Negril is in a development mode now, lots of hotels, new roads being built etc.
Anyway why you stay away so long.

I was considering to purchase a 4 cyclinder. But I need to know, does the 6 cyclinder burn alot more that the 4 cyclinder. In jamaica gas is expensive I do alot of driving.

My 02 v6 averages 18.5 mpg during the warmer months. The 4cyl should be in the mid to high 20's for mpg.

How often do you purchase gas. Right now I drive a 2000 Honda Accord (2000cc) I buy gas once per week.

I get gas once a week. I drive about 300 miles before I need gas. That is, of course, not set in stone. All depends on driving style.

I primarily drive winding + hilly rural roads. I've kinda got a heavy foot cause I'm always late to work. My truck is an automatic.
