Well I'd love to say there was some ground breaking progress on the build today...which was entirely possible, but the local law enforcement would disagree.
Nooooooo....nevermind the fact my county noise ordinance doesn't go into effect until 10:00 PM....my pissed off pandora mix was clearly to offensive and eccentric for the community I live in.

Fuck it. Sound ordinance ends at 6:00 am.
Looks like I'm skipping the gym tomorrow and gonna leave the drain valve on the compressor slightly open.

Bumpstops are mounted. I used another set of spring seats and welded them to the top of the axle. Used the poly bumps i linked earlier with a shaved down nylon lock nut and washer and bam...perfect bump hitting the frame dead nuts center.
Frame to bumpstop at full droop is exactly 7.5" now that I've got shorter 4" shackles. A hard hit and the bumps will compress about another .5"
Can also see some of the detail work I did with the brake wiring. Everything is loomed and taped and placed in a spot that would be in the best possible spot i could visualize as being snag free from obstacles.

Also I started skinning the doors. Didn't get many pictures as the seam sealer is still drying. I'll did take this one is just cause it looks purty.

Nice, that spring perch for the bump is a great idea.

Oh and for the record...I'm two for two. Cops showed up again today at 11:00 AM. This time with smiles on their face cause they knew how stupid it was cause my radio was so not even loud and yet a "complaint" came in.

I asked if which neighbor and they totally were forthcoming with the info and were far busier checking out the trailer rather than some lecture about disturbing the peace. Had a little heart to heart with the hermit neighbor who've I've never met in the last year and a half I've been here. Honestly thought he was only seasonal cause I've only seen him a handful of times. Turns out he does basically the same day job I do and works from home as well. I told him he didn't have to waste the local LEO's time, could have just come down and knocked on my door and I would have been completely accommodating and gave him a beer for his troubled walk to my house. His whole mood changed after that. All in all he was just kind of....one of those "non-confrontational" kind of people that would rather have someone else deal with his problems, and was only annoyed with the bass from my radio (which btw is nothing special). Either way...just unplugged the subs, had some laughs with the LEO's and hopefully all is done.

Ummm...no. I'll go so far as to say I've gotten pretty decent at shock tuning and am very comfortable with what I know. ORI's are a Pandora's box to me.

Right? What a concept...go "talk" to your neighbor? Like really?

Watch out for this thug. He drives a crazy ass truck, sometimes turns his hat around backwards, funny sparks and sounds come from his garage and plays Godsmack at 11:00 in the morning. Dangerous fucker.
