The side markers are flush mount. The tail lights are surface mount. Just drill a 5/8th" hole for the wires to feed thru and 4 set screws.

Interesting. Havent seen superlube spindles yet. Great idea! How much more do those run? Also great choice on those led markers. Love those

The trailers i sell at our dealership all come equipped with Dexter E-Z lube axles. Superlube spindles and hubs are what im not familiar with. I guess superlube is the same concept just different name. Superlube hubs where the grease zerk is located behind the hubface is a interesting concept. Havent seen that yet.

We still re-pack bearings on E-Z lube axles. Some of the old grease will still remain even with that design. And its always good to check out the bearings and races for scoring while your in there. But i think Jerry wont have to worry to much about that kind of wear since this isnt an equipment or travel trailer

It all depends on the mileage you put on it. Its good to inspect every year. I will usually pull the wheel and drum off and inspect the grease. If its discolored (grey or black) and smells burnt, we will do a full repack service. Also inspecting the bearings for burn marks is a sign of overheating and wear.

One of our suppliers just recently started using nitrogen filled tires. Suppose to reduce heat, tire wear and increase mpgs. Hard to say if it will really make a difference

For car tires, most any benefit nitrogen would provide is offset by simple maintenance and cost of fill ups. In other words, you're better off adjusting tire pressure on a regular basis. Which is not to say Nitrogen isn't a better choice in some applications-like aircraft tires or shocks.

CARB commissioned a study a while back which came to that conclusion. If you Google it, I'm sure you'll find it (CARB is the California Air Resources Board for those who don't know).

At the corners of the main frame did you cut the crossmembers and sides at 45* or just butt them together?

Main outer frame are 45* cuts.
Crossmembers are only 2x2 (rather than 2x3) and are butted to the main frame.
    All corners gusseted.

Wonderful! I just started drafting a 5x14 for myself (not expo trailer, just utility) and was trying to decide what would be the best way to approach this.

    Looking great Jason!

I just hauled my trailer to SoCal and back for a week of camping and Disneyland with the fam. Got back yesterday and I freakin love having a trailer. We're washing clothes and repacking the ARB fridge and heading to South Dakota tomorrow for another week of camping in the trailer.

You're gonna love having this trailer and you've got several more "bells and whistles" than I have on mine.
