Learned my lessons over the years. If the diff's are coming out, they are getting lockers at the same time. Not fucking around. And the 3.73s that the truck came with SUUUUUUUUUUUCK

The "Unwatch Thread" button is in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Feel free to click it :luvya:

Did some work tonight. Got the rear diff installed, extended rear brake lines, new MetalTech springs, and cycled the suspension to buy shocks. New 4.56s has some new found pep! Passenger side cycles a little better than the driver. Full droop the upper link on the driver's side comes in contact with the gas tank and stops the droop travel. Passenger side droop travel is limited by the lower link bottoming out with the axle. Only way to get more droop would be with an offset link or lower link perches and to move the gas tank forward.

    Obligatory pix:

    Full bump

    Flexy:

Had to remove the tire to figure out the full droop

    Should work

Guess I'll call DSM tomorrow and order shocks. :spy:

If you are going outside of the frame like I did, what do you have planned for the lower mounts? I recommend these TC ones, 7" off the axle I am going to swap mine to these this winter for better clearance. If you go this route, you are going to need to chop the stockers off, and the LCA mounts as well since they are tied together, unless you have some other plan?

 the ones I made work well, but hang lower than those, and were a bitch to make, should have gone with the TC ones from the get go.

    What about the link mounts?

More shit. Got both pumpkins installed with ARB lockers as well as the compressor. Plumped all the lines and most the electrical. Everything is tested and working. Just waiting for the AOB switches to show up for final switch install/
I ended up getting the ARB HP compressor again like I have in the Taco. It does the job well. Not as fast as the dual, but I wanted to mount it in a specific location. It was a giant pain in the dick to get everything to fit and made my own T so I could fill tires, but ended up working out perfectly and hides nicely behind the cover.

Also picked up a pair of ARB roller drawers. These things may as well have been made for a T4R. Fit like a fucking glove.

Keeping stock link mounts for now, but I have the lower link skids sitting in my garage that I need to install.

I'm talking about the ones on the axle, the shock mounts are integrated with them, chopping the shock mounts off leaves them pretty flimsy, take a good look at them before you start chopping.

Ahhh. I misunderstood. I've got a ton of scrap 1/4". Just plate and gusset where needed.
