Where is the factory jbl amp located? Also, what are it's dimensions?

I'm not ready to spend a lot of money on my stereo yet, but I have an old small RF 2.3 2x25rms amp laying around. I'd like to mount it somewhere under the dash and hook up the factory stereo to power some aftermarket speakers. I am hoping it will fit behind the glovebox or in the factory location for the JBL amp.
