How big is the sub in the stock JBL system? And how much of a difference would a quality subwoofer make if I were to replace it? I'm looking for volume/decibels more than sound quality.

I just upgraded mine and did some sound deadening ,but I'm also adding another box soon . Depends what you want out of your system .
