    I just used 1 grade 8 washer I had laying around on the lower bolt on each side. My front bumper had some rock damage on it with some nice dents on the lower bar.

    1)Quality of the RCI is good, but they were one of the few vendors that had them available at the time, so that is what I went with. Pelfreybilt (old deal, but has some good info on it) has one and I like the design on it better and would have gone with theirs if they were making it.
    2)I had lower style hood hinge brackets initially and they did glare a lot, so I went with Famous Fab when I saw him offering them again for a short while.
    3)Spot pattern

    Saw you popped up on the Skygear page so I had to come back over here. I followed your lead on the RCI skid and it seems perfect. I just have the front one for now. I did notice a little flattening of my crossover pipe on the exhaust while I was under there. I don't know how I did that. Maybe it's time for more skids and a reroute.

    I think my fuse box is actually in the mail. Skygear sent me a picture of the fuse box with the packaging showing my address. I had paid on 12/22/14.

    I purchased a pair of RR Rear CDC Icon shocks and haven't had the opportunity to install them yet. Do you find that the adjustable settings makes a noticeable difference in your day to day driving and when hauling a load in the bed? Of course much of the ride quality comes from the springs but the shocks should have some effect. I only have a steel plate bumper in the rear so it is still relatively light and bouncy.

    Not very many people here running these shocks, so it is difficult to find user reviews. Hoping you can provide some insight.
