Passed by this twice now, first was almost a month ago. Dealer plates, lift kit, LED aux lighting, armor.

Agree. Look at the pictures of the Gladiator. Longer wheelbase, longer bed, and the rear wheels are directly under the bed, completely behind the rear doors.

Nah, this is the only Jeep truck I'd ever be interested in! Not FIAT junk. 9ee90ac21dd0ae87df5530af0dc70dfa.jpg

Except it doesn't really work nearly as well as a mechanical locker. It's better than nothing, but I've actually had very good luck with A-TRAC disabled in snowy uphill situations compared to having it on. It interferes with building momentum and if you're actually getting good momentum from rear traction and you lose front traction it starts braking the wheel slipping (yay, right?) well it actually slows you down further than if you just let it slip and regain traction when you hit a spot with traction. So it ends up overall killing momentum where otherwise your momentum would carry you through. It's a tool, you just have to know when to use it, as it's not meant to be used for everything.

In snow, turn on the rear locker with A-TRAC and then A-TRAC is disabled over 3 mph, ie. it is off unless you are almost stopped/stuck. At that point, A-TRAC comes on to keep you going. Over 3 mph, you don't need the limited slip/ no slip system in snow. I agree with you that limiting wheel spin is not helpful in snow. I suggest using H4 unless you need low range power. Out here in the Southwest, snow driving is not the common use of 4WD. In steep climbs, rocky crawls, deep rut crossing, A-TRAC shines. It is just one of the multiple driving modes available in the 4WD Off Road Tacoma's since 2009. Use the mode that works best for your situation.

If they make a two door, I will be on it. Otherwise.....well it's a Jeep. Wouldn't be caught dead in it just because of the aura around it
