Great concept but too bad it still comes with the 3.6L junk motor. Every one I owned had problems. Just don't understand why they don't put the 5.7L V8 in them

because warranty work, breaking axles, drivetrain wear, tons of reasons that would have to be beefed up probably making for a $60k midsize truck.

i break a lot of Dana 44's, I just don't understand why they don't put the 3/4 ton axles in them. You see how that sounds?

this things competition is midsize now, not 1/2 tons.

STOP BEING A DICK TEASE! If it isn’t available in AMERICA, it isn’t even worth mentioning.

Jk it’s an awesome mini suv that I’d love to own.

Looks like the MSRP for one is 15225 American dollars

I look at the new Renegades and this new Suzuki and I think "that would be the perfect vehicle for towing behind a big-ass RV".

Also owned a 5.7L Ram 1500. Got better mileage than any of the (7) JK's I owned with the 3.6L. Never had a problem with the Ram or a Renegade my wife drives today. For some reason the quality of the Wranglers just isn't up to par with many other FCA vehicles. In my opinion.

With Tariff----- about $19,589...... I guess it will be difficult to have the market to competing with Jeep or even RAV4..

Or just get one 1:43 from Ebay

So Suzuki decided that the Samurai hasn't killed enough people and need to start up again with the Jimmy? Wonder if it is notoriously top heavy with short wheelbase like the Samurai.

Does the towing capacity sound off to anybody? 7,000 pounds? The shitty 3.6 and basic Jeep design can barely tow half of that in the conventional config.

My guess is that there have been some major chassis changes compared to a conventional Jeep. Probably just one of the reasons for the premium price point these things are supposedly going to have.

I agree, but this is all leaked information Jeep has yet to release any information yet. So that could be wrong.

"gladiator" name is awful though. screams "bro".

should have kept the Scrambler name.

Really wonder how much this thing will cost...probably too rich for my blood but damn it its pretty amazing.

4 door family vehicle, 4 wheel drive, pickup that can tow, convertible, stick!...its everything (but probably reliable)

If the specs are accurate (I'm skeptical of the cited 7500lb towing capacity) then this truck, unlike other concept vehicles that have been discussed here at TW, might actually challenge the Tacoma for sales. The only way I see Jeep screwing this up is if they price it too high out of the gate.
