It does have an odd rear window slider or something. Is that what has you puzzled?

I saw the 2020 yesterday all draped in those black mats they use to try and disguise a vehicle when road testing.
I have seen a few of the 2019s, one with a bunch of mods and lift (looked halfway decent). Then I have seen 2 stock ones and wanted to vomit, but confusion quickly took over on why someone would actually buy it.

I saw a Rubicon on my way to work on 37s. The thing looked mean AF. The more base models look like the auto equivalent of the kid that got beat up in middle school though.

Such a small slider for such a big piece of glass. Is that the "Glory Hole" feature I've heard about?

I actually like them. The only reason I’m not driving one is FCA’s shitty reputation. I test drove one for the second time just a few days ago. For me it actually beats the Taco in pretty much every drivability category other than reliability which for me trumps everything.

If they had the reliability of a Toyota it would be a slam dunk in the Gladiators favor though.

Also the price most of these stealer ships are asking is pretty ridiculous.

I agree, I don't think they look that bad when lifted with more aggressive tires. If that one in your pic had some better aftermarket bumpers and maybe a soft topper or bed rack over the rear it would look even better.

But the stock base model ones like in the OPs pic look goofy to me.

But I would never own a modern Jeep product for the other reasons you mentioned so it won't happen.

I agree. The only one the interests me is the Rubicon. The sport model just looks like ass for some reason.

About the only thing I didn’t like after the test drive is the side mirrors. They need to be bigger and shaped differently. They afford a crappy view as is.

Other than that and the fact that I would be constantly afraid it was going to grenade on me at any minute, it was awesome. . . :D

If they weren’t so crazy over priced and shitty reliability wise, id get one in a heartbeat. They look great with a small lift on 37’s.

I don't think any of the jeeps came with dana 60's, the jeep website says the gladiator comes with dana 44's.
