Been a while since I've posted, so heres some updated trailer pics!

Finally got my RTT purchased and mounted up with the help of Stefen! Had to set it up in front of the house of course :D

Of course, I had to set the tent up with lights. I recently ordered a shitload of these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00C1Y...=AC_SY200_QL40 These are 6"x0.75" miniature adhesive backed lightbars. I call them "lightbars" because they're not flexible (bending them kills them). 12v, 0.5A each, and very bright.

I set up a small box with a couple cheap illuminated toggles, one to control the light for the ladder and the other for inside the tent. Wiring to the LED bars is hidden under the mattress, with a 12 foot power cord with a male 12v plug on the end that plugs into the receptacle in the tongue box:

And placed one of the mini lightbars for under-tent/ladder lighting

And one bar inside on the center hoop. Lights the shit out of it!

Here's how its sitting currently, in anticipation for some camping!

After the last camping trip, I decided that the springs I had on it were way too stiff. So, I switched them out! Can anyone guess what vehicle these new springs are off of? :D

And picked up one of these! No more ice!!

    Coming soon: camping trip pics!

Thanks guys! There's still a few things to do. Mr Quinton is still setting me up with a water tank for the on-board running water, and I'm sure there's more I haven't thought of yet :D

Cool bud! Boat trailers are a great platform to build off of! I'm really glad I had that old trailer sitting around, saved a bit in labor and material costs!

Cool bud! All the time I think of stuff to do to it that would be an improvement! I've got a couple ideas right now; side boxes, running water, long travel suspension... It's ongoing.

So, last weekend, I drove the trailer up to the Mogollon Rim here in AZ for a 2 day camp with a few other TW members. Got to experience my first ever RTT campout in a thunderstorm, followed by all night snow. The tent didn't even miss a beat!

While on the trip, I also did a lighting "trail install" on Snowtank's rooftop tent! Here's a pic of the interior and ladder lights from his tent after install:

I've been working on an easy-to-install RTT lighting kit that I may be making and selling here soon! For those of you following T4C0CH40S's build, his tent is set up with my kit as well! Check it out on this page, last post at the bottom: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/t4c0ch40s-build.155157/page-153

After dealing with the muddy road to camp, rain, snow etc, I've decided to convert the trailer to a covered style with a hinged top.. That build will be coming up here in a week or so.. Stay tuned!

The new shell for the trailer is coming along nicely! The frame is made of 1"X1" 13ga square tubing. It'll be skinned with 0.063 aluminum 5 bar plate
