    Hey yall,

I am a new Tacoma owner and my 2017 SR (owned for less than a month) is currently in the shop. In the mean time, I have a 2017 TRD sport loaner from the dealership.

I have noticed that my 2017 SR jerks when I shift from drive to park and reverse to park. However, the loaner does not shift at all. Does anyone have any experience with this? I thought it was normal so I didn't tell the dealership when I brought my truck in. Im not sure what the problem could be

Be prepared for all the jerking references you will get. :facepalm:Hang in there...there are decent guys that chime in with suggestions.

I used to have the learch similar to what you mentioned for my TRD Off Road. I want to say it stopped when I requested the dealer reflash my transmission. Check this thread out.

I say call the dealer and ask them to to check it out and see if the software update is something that would help the problem while they still have the truck.

Good luck, congrats and enjoy it!:headbang:
