It was one of my favorite mods. I hated to let mine go, but doubt I’ll own another 2Gen.

I'd love to run one. I wish Roost would have built me one. I'm loving how my set up sounds now though, but the exhaust tone could be more aggressive outside. JBA shorties -> AFE Y -> AFE turn down

Any reason you didn't go with the AFE header/cat combo? Am between that and the Doug Thorley short tube, but don't know anyone that does exhaust system welding in my area and my stock cats are 15 years/180k miles old, rusty and worn so not sure if that or new is best way to go. The AFE Y-pipe and everything else work well for you?

I have the AFE shortly headers with high flow cats, AFE Y-pipe and an AFE 10” resonator hooked up to the Magnaflow Overland exhaust. Quiet at idle and startup, barely droning on the highway.

    Works pretty well

The AFE header is not CARB exempt and will save me more headaches down the road of having to remove and replace every two years. Probably the only reason. Otherwise I would have went long tube equal length non compliant. You can get high quality converters cheaper than CA stamped ones if you're concern is new but welding is another concern.

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
Myself and at least several others with boost have had the AFE headers fail. The guts blow out.
I switched to URD EL headers. Muy bueno. But are they discontinued?

I read a post stating that the crackdown on retail sales of emission tampering products spooked Gadget and he got out of the URD EL header biz. Like these y pipes, those EL headers are a highly desired item now.

I bet if you posted on the Boosted thread, it would yield a handsome dividend. I could have sworn a couple guys posted WTB threads.

Thanks for thinking of me! I would actually love a set for 05-11, but 12-15 works too. I’d either block off the SAIS tubes or just cut them off because I have an 07

Not sure how I missed this tag earlier, but would love to take them off your hands if hx989 doesn't have dibs.
