Will do but I'll be installing mine when I get my y-pipe. I'm 4th in line at the moment so you may have yours installed before me.

May I ask where you got this from? I just talked to Gadget, they don't sell Black headers...

It's grayish black. Looks very similar to mine. He might be trying on new vendor. I keep thinking the color is Glacial Black or Glacial Grey?

Correct. It's grayish black and they're from URD

@rmepilot can you post a pic of your headers? Might be from the same batch.

Mine came with a pair of bung plugs, did yours? Just put plugs in and torque them to spec. It won't leak.

    I'm guessing 20mm.

I have leftover metric hardware from my motocross days so I fit the bolt I needed without looking at the size.

You're correct. I opened the hardware and there are two bungs provided with the headers.

    @rmepilot

It was one of these. An M6 X 15 or 20mm.

I like the flared head so no washer needed.
Just buy a 10 pack of each on Amazon or something. Very handy to have.

Did you have to buy additional studs?

    6 came in my kit.

No, the six are all you NEED. But, thinking about it some bolts might make things easier in a few places.
I think on mine I removed more studs in head than what the instructions called for to make getting the headers into position easier. Then I reinstalled (fully seated) all the studs through the header and finally install all the nuts and torque to spec.

NOTE: Make sure the steering shaft is clear of the header before bolting the header down.

Good to know, I will try and get stainless ones from boltdepot.com. I was reading another thread where they removed and replaced all of the header studs with stainless ones. Apparently they are the same as an LS1.

Are the six that came with the kit stainless?

I have not bought the headers yet. Why would they only send 6? There are 12 studs and nuts total... So confused.

IDK, but I haven't opened up the hardware/instruction package. My install is still 3 weeks out.
