Hey John, when I go to get this pipe ceramic coated, should I leave the v-clamp on? Or do I need to take it off before handing it over to the coater?

I'm not sure. They are the experts with the coating so take a 13mm wrench with you to take off the v-band clamp if required and ask them.

Sorry for the lack of a definitive answer buddy.

@jhaykane you are up. Some of your parts are on the right.
It's what I could do with a jacked up finger.

Thanks man! First one I've ever made. Had to figure something out so I wasn't dismantling my truck to fit them.

I have #8. I got it Cerakoted to match my pistol, rifle, urd headers and third exhaust member. Coat it all. Note! When you tighten hardware, slight amount of coating will come off. Other than that, it won't hurt to protect your badass y pipe. I highly recommend it.

My URD y-pipe is ceramic inside and out. I want to get the JFR done before I install it and I’m intending to take off my URD exhaust, media blast it, and coat that too.

I don’t know if this is a stupid question but can you ceramic coat a muffler? My thoughts are that you can’t but I guess you don’t know unless you ask.
