    3/15/2017:

    Got an early morning mod in today before heading into the office. Nothing too crazy, but swapped out the stock chrome TRD Off-road grill for one painted "smoke pearl." I originally got a flat black one off a buddy, but thought I've seen a lot of black TRD OR grills around and wanted to do something a little different and closer to a color match for my MGM truck and Matte Gunmetal F5 wheels. Very happy with how it came out. It's hard to get a good photo that catches the light just right, but in person it looks really good IMHO.

    2/27/2017:

    Installed Bilstein 6112's up front (set at 2nd notch/0.75" lift + 0.25" spacer on driver side for "taco lean") and 5100's rear. Big time thanks to @jluu44 for helping with the install! Also added Stealth Custom Series F5's (16x8 — 4.5 backspacing/ 0 offset) wrapped in 265/75R16 Goodyear Duratracs C load range. Alignment done this morning. So stoked on how it all turned out. Got to thank Marie at Headstrong Offroad and Vin at SCS too for there help (and patience). Thank you guys so much. The overall ride and performance of my truck is so much better. Honestly, I can not believe how much of an improvement the 6112's offer compared to TRD Offroad stock suspension. Highly recommend to anyone considering these. Stock Bilstein 4600 series shocks + Stock wheels/tires are for sale as well. Only 2,000 miles on them. PM me if you're in the San Diego area and interested.

    Love em so far. No snow yet, but had a really close call with a crazy lady pulling out in front of me and they gripped like crazy and honestly I think helped me avoid a major accident yesterday ... very close call, but they stopped on a damn dime.

    Yeah, I ordered it from an Instagram account I follow called @importequipped (i think, would need to check) ... or if you want to check out my instagram (@jhunter80) I have him tagged in a couple of my posts too. Super nice guy and it was like $10 I think ... subtle, but I think makes a difference. Very easy to put on as well.

    6112's are a "suspension kit/ system" ... basically just a vehicle specific spring + BIG ASS monotube shock that comes as a kit and can be mounted right on to your OEM top mount. The 3rd Gen 6112's have 6 clip options. I went with the 2nd clip on both sides + a 1/4" spacer on the driver side to get the front end perfectly level. 5100 are ride height adjustable, and very capable shock, that you either use with your OEM spring and clip settings or keep the clip at 0 and use Old Man Emu springs (2885, 2887, 2886, etc) to achieve the desired lift. I went with 6112's and very happy with that decision, but I know a lot of people who love their 5100's too. I have 5100's in the rear and very happy with them.

    6112:
    Large 60mm monotube for increased oil capacity, cooling, and long-term durability
    – 60mm digressive piston for improved ride comfort and control over rough terrain
    – Custom engineered cold wound linear springs for enhanced vehicle control
    – Monotube design for consistent, fade-free performance
    – Application specific for maximum performance

    6112 = 60mm Piston vs 5100 = 46mm Piston
    2.65" Body vs 1.95"
    18mm shaft vs 14mm shaft

    Basically a long-winded way of saying It's all about that GIRTH !! hahaha

    :benchpress::mudding::):):)

    Truck is looking good.
    So you went 2nd notch on both sides and a top plate spacer, any reason going that route instead of staggering the notches side to side?
