I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I checked on a custom built water tank that would fit in between the frame rails and clear the Trailing arms and it came out to $618 bucks  I'm not too far into this build to make some changes to fit a stocked tank in there.

Cool trailer. Just my two cents but I'd really rethink that trailing arm design

Obviously an awesome trailer you're building Jerry.

I know I'm not in your head and haven't thought about your design and build like you, but from the pics it looks like the trailing arms are super close to the tires. Are you not concerned they may rub at some point? Just curious.

A trailing arm like that has a fixed arc of travel. It goes up and down only. It will never articulate in the common sense so tire clearance is not an issue unless it's so close tire bulge is a factor when aired down.

Yeah I understand the articulation.. But yeah, the bulge of the tires is what I was thinking of, under weight or aired down or both etc.

Like I said there is a lot of things I'd rethink about the trailing arms ha tire clearance being the least of them

Well for one the lack of adjustment ability. At least one of the pivots should be adjustable.

P.s. nice work jerry! You could almost toss a bed inside of it and just camp out of that alone. Kinda like a classic teardrop trailer

Yeah Jason had brought up heims I see the point in it Having them adjustable. I don't see it being problem being fixed hell every trailing arm set up i have seen was mounted on bushings. If it's a problem later down the road then I'll take care of that then.

The tire will never touch the trialing arm there is enough clearance.
