    yea.. by far the easiest skids to install!


    I finally installed my Boztec diff skid again too. It really does not fit very well but I did some grinding and at least now it clears the pinion. Good enough.. it'll still do what I need it too.

    Well that sux. At least it's on the truck now. Nobody sees the grind marks.

    Looking to get those lca skids soon too. May just bight the bullet and get them from TC

    Me and Anthony ordered our lca skids and spindle gussets together to save on shipping. He got them from offroad warehouse for a decent price..

    The only thing under the truck that concerns me now is the drive shaft. Coil bent his to a 45* angle pretty easily. After seeing how light it is I can definitely see how it could easily get screwed up

    No. No difference than the whole last year. But at the moment the 4wd light is not flashing. :crosses fingers:

    Pretty sure coil picks the best lines.. Hence why he's the best spotter. And it's easy to say "pick better lines" until the best line is still going to destroy the drive shaft...

    Dipshit below this V ordered ours from offroad warehouse. But I'm sure many other places sell them too.

    -grease drive shafts

    -touch up rust

    -order new uca bushings and rebuild uca's

    yea but theres something going on that doesn't look right. here's one of them. left side looks good, right side looks messed up. there are a few others that look even worse. I just want to take them apart and put them back together to try to get it to look right. Also I want to put some teflon tape on the zerks to get them to face the right way.

    today I changed my oil. I'm almost at 40,000 so it needed to be done soon. I'm going to look into getting the oil tested so I know how long I need wait next time.

    Hard to tell from the pic but is the bushing flange wearing? Looks like its oddly shaped. Is this the same on both sides of the truck?

    yea its like pushed out and twisted a bit. of the 8 bushings, at least 5 are pushed out somehow. Cant figure out how it would happen. Almost as if when i greased the zerks it built up pressure inside and pushed the bushings out. Or when I tightened the bolt I overtightened it and that squeezed the bushings out. IDK. Either way I don't like the way they look so I want to get new bushings and try again. lol
