So my name is Josh. Im from New Jersey. I bought my 2010 TRD Sport Black Sand Pearl Double Cab Long Bed Tacoma in the beginning of June 2010. I found this site a few days later and my obsession began.

I started with all the basic/free mods, then started saving for some bigger stuff. I'll start a list of all the mods I've done to my truck (no matter how big or how small) incase anyone who reads this wants any advice on how I did anything.

All my old parts will be for sale in this thread: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacoma-marketplace/157097-jlinks-used-parts-sale.html#post3176797

That is the grillecraft. I'm pretty sure it only requires a few holes to be drilled and then it bolts in. The center bars can be left in or cut out. The OP cut his out obviously for the lights. Search grillecraft installation and I'm sure there is a write-up on how to do it.

He's right.. its a Grille Craft. Really easy to install, especially if u cut out the center bar like i did. Grille craft has some great vehicle specific instructions on their site.

I started by taking the wheels off the truck, washed them, lightly wet sanded them with like 600 grit paper, then sprayed them outside and in with black primer, then black rustoleum spray can performance wheel paint. used about a can of each per wheel. Didnt bother taping off the tires since they are black anyway. You can see where the paint is peeling off the tire a little bit, but not a huge deal. If i did it again i might put tire shine on before hand, that way the paint wouldnt stick in the first place. Didnt use any clear coat though, and i've washed and scrubbed them and its holding up great. No chips or anything. For me its a temporary fix until i can afford to lift it and get new rims and tires, but i think it looks great for now.

You've got a nice truck there, sir. I might recommend removing the pic of where you keep your spare key. You never know what kind of shady characters are internet stalking you.
