    +1

I put the ECGS bushing in the freezer while I disassembled. It went in a lot easier that way.

    this ^

I had to remove the uca's because the bj press wasn't working well. with them removed from the truck I was able to remove the c clip more easily too (need a big pair, broke the tip off my normal size pair)

then I used the misalignment spacer thats normally on the top, and set the uca on a 6x6 and hit the spacer real hard with a 3lb sledge. took a few tries but got it out. then freeze the new ones over night and grease them up real good. to reinstall i used the same trick to drive it in from the bottom. I actually had to use my dremel with drum sander attachment to hone out the cup of the UCA. took the powder coat off and maybe a little bit of metal and it helped the new uniballs seat a lot easier.

still no where near as simple as this-

    Yep.
Saw your pics in the homer build...

Sweet jebus, you took a nice chunk out of the front! I only had to take about .5" at the bottom angled up to about 2.5".

Although, your lines look better  nice work

looks like a piece of cake from the video though... now if i could only find a new set of UCAs to swap out the uniballs on

let's see them do that on some grimy uniballs that most people are replacing

better having more space than not enough and have shit eat your tires...

i just polish the top of the wheel well now...but they tuck very nicely up in there with 2" taken out

yea the tire slicing is a bummer, but at least I only had one of my new tires on for fitting/trimming. so they got one new tire and one old tire, and 2 of my roommates tires.

I plugged the new one even though its the sidewall. figure i'll keep it as an extra spare.

in better news, my coil overs will be here tomorrow so i should be able to get the truck back on 4 wheels and drivable tomorrow night. planning on getting the tires mounted friday. and my light bar project is getting closer to being done..

and I have the trac performance light bar mounts painted and ready to go. just waiting for the light bar. 50" radius double row led from Memario- Vivid illumination and performance. (awesome customer service btw)
