Nice LC, Im looking at getting an LX470 myself to keep the tacoma on wheeling/camping duty only as well.

haha nice! Yea we can’t have anything nice up this way. Rust ruins everything.
Good luck with your search. Pre 2006 is cheaper, and I saw more LX’s than LC’s.

You got a 06' LC? I see you big money lol. Im content with a 98-02' LX470 lol. Wife has a CT200H for the long trips and the LX will be the DD so i can wheel the Taco a little harder without worry.

Yea I wanted the extra hp and 5 speed trans. And I didn’t like that the lx has separate hi/lo headlight housings. Wound up spending a lot more than I originally wanted lol.

Now I love it so much I want to get another one. There’s a 2005 lx near me with just under 200k miles for $10k. I keep thinking it would be cool to get rid of my wife’s Subaru and get that.

yeah that Front end i didnt like at first but now it's sorta grown on me a bit. I want the AHC as well it being a DD, having that hydraulic system would be a sweet plus.

Toyota > Subaru lol. I'm personally a little obsessed with the LC platform lol They're a little different from our tacomas. I've always wanted an 80/100 series but the 100 is probs gonna be the move.

I'd see if you could swing the LX too lol.

What? To replace the Subaru? No that was never the plan. The land cruiser was supposed to be a 3rd vehicle so while I work on the Tacoma or the Subaru we have something to drive.

It was supposed to replace the Subaru as our snowboard trip vehicle though.

@JLink do you have KB Voodoo flat bed rails? Could you measure from the roof of your truck to the bottom of the GFC? I am about to order one tomorrow

haha yea that wait is a bitch.

at least you’ll have the embassy hinge. I’m most likely going to have to take a trip out there to have my hinges replaced..
