    07 Access Cab 4cl AT SR5
    Hello

Joined up last week and have finally got the time to send in my first post. I live in central Il. and have a 85 Toyota that is not so slowly rusting itself into oblivion. I am looking for a good used 06-08 2 wheel drive, 2.7L AT access cab. Hope to find one in the next couple of weeks.

I am going to ask a coulpe of questions, in the appropriate places, about the 06-09 Tacomas.

With the composite bed, how do you haul and tie down a Harley and will a 2 wheel drive access cab handle the 800# weight of the Harley?

Who sells the 7/100,000 extended warrentee for the best price?

What changes/improvements were made each year from 06-09 that I should take into consideration before buying a certain year Tacoma.

If you have any opinions/answers on the questions, please look for them and chime in.

    UPDATE!

Got A Black, 07 access cab, 2.7L, auto, 31,404 miles, Sat 10-18. LOVE THE TRUCK! Drove 160 interstate miles home from the dealer at 70-75MPH and got a little over 27MPG. The CD player has a disk stuck in it, have to take it in to the dealer to fix that and get the extra leaf springs installed.

    Thanks
    Oldgoat.

    Welcome to TW!

2nd Gen Tacoma's are from 05-09. I have an 05 with 97,000 miles on it. Not a single problem. Great trucks! I'm not sure I would worry about wasting money on an extended warranty. Just bank the money you would have spent on it, for mods or just if something needed repairing.

Others will be along shortly to answer your other questions.

    Happy browsing,
    Sean

Hey you oldgoat (I always wanted to say that) :D
Hooray for driving the heck out of your 85!! If you find the GEN2 truck you want, Troy at Greenfield MA has the best warranty price. Search for platinum warranty. Happy Shopping welcome to the forum.
