Im not affiliated with jet.com nor do I work for them. This is my first time ordering from them. But was doing some searching, I wanted to get my 5100 bilstein fronts. 4wheelparts has them for $190 shipped and downsouthmotorsport has them for $194 shipped.

Then I ran across this posting
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/cheap-bilstein-5100s-135-24-shipped.401944/

It looks like a few members have ordered from that site and have gotten their orders without any problems.

So I figured I'd share in case someone needs some bilstein https://jet.com/product/Bilstein-24...ock-Absorber/e33c851adcde4cf3991ef4bb0ee06735

I was hesitant to spend $190 before the holidays, but for $135 shipped if you use the 20NOW coupon code, I just couldn't pass that up.

So order at your own risk. Like I said I took the bite and hopefully it shows up without any problems.

UPDATE 2/2/16: ACCORDING TO ANOTHER MEMBER THIS DEAL IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.

    Markcal:
"I just saw that Jet lowered the maximum discount from $50 to $30, so if you order anything totaling over $200 on your first order, you won't see any additional savings, from the 15% discount they offer. I was also reading that Jet is losing money with the deep discounts to get customers away from
amazon, so in the near future they will start again, charging a membership fee."

Since I know NOTHING about this type of thing, is the truck required to be lifted first, and can these be used on both the front and rear, or just front end?

The 5100 series shocks provide the lift up front, but not in the rear. There are 4 positions on the shock body, 0",.85", 1.75", and 2.5" Many get the rear because they provide better shock dampening in the rear, but the rears provide no lift.

Thanks for posting this find. Just picked up 5100s all the way around for 245 shipped. Planning on setting them at 1.75 with factory coils...just waiting on the leaf spring recall.

Tried out JET - to get a set of the Firestone Ride -Rite #2407's (air spring kit). Advertised price was $295.00 - with first order discount (15%) dropped price to $251.00 - and no shipping cost. Good deal as far as I'm concerned - parts are already here! Usual price is $354 - and then discounted to $310 or so.

Just ordered my 5100's for the front! Stoked to get rid of the previous spacer lift thats on there now. What's the best install thread??

I have an ARB Bullbar and what seems to be 2-2.5" spacers. Will I be okay to get the same ride height out of the 5100's at the max setting? I rub a little as is and don't want to get worse

stock coils.... dont do the max setting... its gonna be way stiff. and at the max setting you will need UCA's if you wanna do it proper.

If I want to run these at 1.5-2" lift, what is the PN I would need for the rear shocks? I seem to get a few different answers depending on where I look.

Seriously insane service from jet... Just got my two front shocks today, the day after ordering them with no rush shipping or anything. Bravo!

I also ordred the "1/4" spacers from toytec. It said it should net 1/2" of lift. I just want to get my truck back to where it is now with the spacer...

I had it on the max setting for close to 10K miles and was able to get the alignment back into spec. If you're still using stock tire size, there will be no problems with stock UCAs.
