Just changed my oil and think i found a problem

    I just got the truck about a week ago, and as i was changing the oil i noticed on the oil fill cap there was alot of sludge in there and on the fill neck that the cap attatches too, is that a real problem, or........ thanks alot for any advice

    Change to oil more often, or go on longer drives.

    First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
    Well, I'd do an engine oil flush. Pretty reasonable and almost any shop can do it.

    Forgot to mention. After the flush start using synthetic oil like Mobile 1. No more sludge :)
