What are you eating that is 400/month? Christ I buy groceries here in a canada and 100 dollars is like 4 bags of groceries and I still feel like I bought nothing. And that’s just me, i’m Not going crazy on organic foods, premium meat cuts, etc.

 

Nice job, about 5 years ago i got myself out of $26,000 of credit card debt (the worst debt to have) and remember that final payment feeling
I was in such a hole that i could barely make any principle payments because busy just paying off interest of the card, i had to do some serious changes but made it out!

 

Canada is very expensive to live, move to the U.S. and eat well

Health and food is first on my list everything else is secondary. We spend like $1500 a month for the two of us, and pet food is extra, two dogs and a cat.

How did you do it? Me and my gf are trying to get out of our debt but housing cost in California is expensive and we spend a lot on food haha.

Congrats, it is a great feeling, I am always saving for my next vehicle so I can pay cash...but keep my cash on my home's heloc so it lowers my monthly interest and more goes principal....so I pay down my mortgage quicker.

Me and the wife eat pretty premium and i spend about 400 a month (pretty much all red meat and bison for meat stuffs), and 60 month in dog food. I could cut back on that, but Ive been where i could only eat ramen. I aint going back to that shit savings be damned.
